International Contest Spotlights Trade Skills, Competitors

And so it goes for 20 other young Americans who will represent the United States at WorldSkills, an international showcase of skilled trades scheduled to feature teams from more than 70 countries.
The event is scheduled for Aug. 22-27 in Kazan, Russia. The U.S. team has come together through the nonprofit group SkillsUSA, which aims to engage students in the classroom with a host of trade, technical and skilled-service occupations.
